8029 Neue Schule Salox Waterford Loose Ring Snaffle - 5 1/4
Neue Schule Waterford snaffle
14mm Mouth Thickness with 70mm Rings
A design for more control. Does your horse lean, snatch or pull? Does he fully understand the aids but continues to ignore you? Do you have an independent seat with hands that will reward once he responds? The NS Waterford is designed to give you the control back whilst eradicating the fighting and pulling that often causes damage ultimately leading to a hard mouth. As the Waterford is flexible and bends in every direction it usually suits all types of mouth conformation, including big, fat tongues. This slimmer, innovative Waterford mouthpiece features our ergonomic LipSMART shelf which usually eradicates the previous common problem of rubs.
The Neue Schule Salox is Neue Schules unique composition - This is a warmer softer metal with a very high copper content and Neue Schule additive to maximise on oxidation (Nickel Free). This promotes salivation, mouthing, acceptance and harmony. Many horses that have previously only been bittable in rubber or nylon have proven extremely comfortable in the Neue Schule Salox. All bits in the Neue Schule Collection have high density stainless steel rings, cheeks, etc., for appearance and durability.
The loose rings snaffles make a more mobile bit than an eggbutt or fixed cheek bit, which should encourage your horse to keep a relaxed jaw and mouth the bit. The loose ring may be useful if your horse leans on the bit, or takes hold, as the bit is always movable so the horse cannot take hold as easily as they could with a fixed cheek. This bit is also useful for gaining contact as the movable mouthpiece enables the bit to fit the mouth, contour the tongues natural position and sit comfortably.
